Religions
Polytheism Religions
All major cultures believe in a polytheism (multi-gods). Some of the gods have been paired down in order to fit into the campaign mechanics. That is not to say there are not the other gods, but consider the gods listed a the cultures major gods. All others are considered minor gods for simplicity purposes. Alternatively, while still considered polytheism, some of the cultures believe in spirits rather than multiple gods, which in and of itself is considered polytheism.

**While the Omarns also believe in spirits, they do happen to have a set of gods that coincide with the planets, and therefore can be placed on the chart.
Heaven & Hell
Many cultures believe in the heavens up in the sky and the hellish realm of the underworld. Neither realm has truly been seen or described, however, folklore discusses their existence quite often even though they may have different names or understanding. It is common knowledge to all cultures of what one might mean when referring to another culture's idea of heaven or hell even if they are not educated in other cultures religion.
Good vs. Evil
Before getting into which god is which, it should be noted that there is no such thing as a good or bad god in this campaign. Gods can only be perceived good or evil depending upon the attitudes of one who falls on either side of an argument. All gods are meant to be revered and feared. It should be understood that while there is a god of violence/war, all gods will have champions to protect their ideals. Some merchants are rich while beggars line city streets. Some possess magic while others barely possess a family or good trustworthy friends. Godly influence comes in champions of all personalities. You can't send a war hungry grunt to war without a honey tongued politician to sign off on it.
The Real Gods
Gink - God King/Heavens/Sky/Sun
Gink controls the Lizardfolk in the Tribal Lands but largely ignores them in an effort to influence the leaders of other cultures into creating singular prophets of godly power. Cults often take on the imagination of one all-powerful God. A supreme God. What is the difference between a King of the gods like Zeus, Odin, or Aman-Ra? Simple, those gods tolerate other gods and people spiritually negotiate with those lesser gods concerning their fate and fortune. A singular monotheistic religion is the focus and will of Gink. Whether that culture believes the ultimate God is the Lizardfolk God, a specific person of power, or a common farm animal, it doesn't matter. A specific God held in such a supreme regard is merely a false idol representing the idea of Gink. If that sole focus accepts no other gods as part of their pantheon, they are under the influence of Gink.
Baalnec - Goddess of Balance/Fate/Fortune (Lady Luck)
Baalnec holds sway over the Drakkadia Region and has enacted strict rules to appeal to the fairness of all classes, cultures, sexes, and most importantly races. Baalnec creates the most order in Drakkadia, making their unified focus fair and good for the masses. The expectations are known and that makes people happy. No one breaks their code of ethics, because chaos has many evil forms. Baalnec manipulates these forces by flipping the other side of the coin on her enemies. She causes doubt and fear in her enemies where there is no reason to. She lines her peoples pockets full of gold while she pushes bad bargains for other merchants. She holds up her brave forces on one side of the battlefield while she crumbles the moral draining them of the most precious resource they have.
Thear - Goddess of Earth/Plant/Agriculture/Animals (Mother Earth)
Thear influences the Birdonia Region by creating nature wardens by amassing large armies powered by the beasts and animals themselves enhancing their already powerful nature. While the Birdonians are largely not in the center of the world at large, they are hard at work training their winged birds and beasts mounts to prepare for war. If they can manage it, they will push the edges of the forests beating back major civilizations to the corners of the world. They will surround them with walls of giants beasts so that the humanoids are but ants under their massive hoof. The oceans will be teaming with so much life boats would be sailing on top of fish.
If the wildlife was so bountiful, no culture would need to leave their homes. Thear would make cultures scared to travel too far, but humbled by the fact that they never needed to in order to survive.
Nomew - Goddess of Women/Fertility
The Goddess Nomew have a very different perspective on how wars can be won, and that is through the use of the races themselves. While the Monazan Region is home to large women (large tokens), she often focuses her attention on using the birthing process to influence how wars are won, and lost. Is it birthright to the throne? Chaos ensues if there is no heir. Or perhaps the King fell ill and died leaving a Queen instead? Maybe it is series of miscarriages that end a line of kings? Assassins that kill the sole male heir? Or is there a female in the empire background pulling the strings while she paves the way of success for her child?
Ceano - God of Ocean/Storms
Ceano holds sway over the Skarsgard Region. Through navel expertise, he aims to use Skarsgard to overpower the seas with ocean campaigns including raids, piracy, and fear of ocean storms. They have become the premiere navy in all the cultures and often strike the countryside like lightening, and then in the next moment, they are gone again leaving other cultures crippled. When cultures run for the hills and leave their fishing villages, you will know Ceano has succeeded.
Lionecve - God of War/Violence
Lionecve controls the Omarn Region and has given them an excitement for exploration in the form of kingdom expansion. With sword in hand, and a ferocious hunger for blood, they seek to cut their enemies down and raise their flag over the tops of their corpses. While there are many effective finesse tactics to approach politics, the Omarn politician typically brings a hammer. Why not a pen? Because a hammer almost always has the desired outcome when brought down on a the forehead of an opposing culture.
Dorweundol - God of The Underworld/Death
Dorweundol surprised the other gods and took the Katopia Region on land instead of an underground race (such as Drow or Duerger Dwarves). He uses the warped view of death and undeath as a way to cause fear into other cultures. They are a highly misunderstood culture and they use that to their advantage while covering up their research in the underworld (demons/fiends) and vampires. Once their research is complete, they can unleash their deadly "gifts" upon the world creating an immortal utopia of undeath. There will be no living left in it's wake, unless they serve their vampire masters with their flesh and blood.
Cigma - God of Magic
Cigma controls the unknown race of the Orcs in the Hordeteria Region which is protected by a vast oceans (Endless Expanse and Treacherous Expanse). While most cultures believe The World Is Flat, the Hordeterians have the ability to conduct magical summoning experiments and planar travel. With their innate knowledge of how to extract Arcane Dust from the environment around them, they have a significant advantage having a populace that is almost entirely magic sensitive. While their operations are start small, they will increasingly be able to mobilize large portals allowing large armies to strike at a moments notice. Their leaders will gain integral understanding of the cosmos at large, and learn to manipulate what it means to travel vast distances in moments through their teleportation circles and understanding of the Magic Matrix - Astral Plane. In most societies, magic is a decisive subject. It is about those that have and those that do not. It is not important to know who is a NoMaj, but it is important to know who a [Magic Sensitive Character] is. Many groups within society look to these [Magic Sensitive Character]s as aberrations of humanity who hunger for control and power. They conjure nasty monsters that haunt the common folk and are to be feared. It is for this reason places like the Ministry of Magic hosts a safe space for those who have the gift of magic.
Ceepa - Goddess of Joy/Peace/Healing
Ceepa was awarded the Kreeg Region. By using a covert effort to promote peace among the cultures, Kreeg aims to sabotage other cultures from within through the use of deeply addictive drugs that they export to other cultures. The more drugs they export through covert operations, the more dire a populace will be willing to listen to the messages of peace and prosperity. If the other cultures are unable to assemble and conduct major empire initiatives, Ceepa will win by default. She protects her people from such problems, however, allowing them to resist disease and appear to be the most healthy nation on earth while she exports disease by the boatload. When all cultures are too pacified by drugs and alcohol usage to muster motivated armies, she will have become the single gleaming beacon of the world.
