Introducing Atlas Forge

You have a dungeon entrance, a fight to prepare, and a party that might decide to climb through a window. Atlas Forge gives you a way to build the battlefield around that encounter.

Atlas Forge is a browser-based battle map maker. Start with a blank canvas, open a premade map, or use a generator, then shape the space around your encounter.

Arrange modular tiles to connect rooms and corridors. Add furniture, terrain, and other objects to give the party something to work with. A narrow doorway, a blocked passage, or a table in the wrong place can change how a fight plays out. Room Blueprints let you place prepared groups of map elements and move them together.

For games on a virtual tabletop, Atlas Forge also helps prepare the map before you bring it into your VTT. Check walls and lights in Lighting view, then export in the format you need. Universal VTT exports include prepared wall and lighting data and require a compatible importer in the destination VTT.

With just a click of the button your can switch to Lighting view and check your walls.

You can build before signing in and download an editable project backup for free. Finished-map exports require sign-in and export access.

Start with one room

Pick a scene for your next game: a guarded entrance, a ruined shrine, or a room with something worth finding. Lay out the space, add a few obstacles, and give the party more than one way through it.
